What we collect

When you use the Run Your Numbers calculator and request your report, we collect your first name, email address, optional company name, and the answers you give (such as revenue range, margin, and how you rate each growth lever). We save your calculator answers as you go, even if you don't leave an email, together with your country and device type but no name, email or IP address, so we can improve the calculator and keep your report.

Site statistics and advertising

We count visits to this site without cookies and without storing your IP address, so we can see which pages are useful. To count one visit as one visit, your browser keeps a random visit number for as long as the tab is open; it is deleted when you close the tab and is never linked to you.

We also use Google Analytics and the Meta (Facebook and Instagram) pixel to measure visits and the results of our ads, and to show our ads to people likely to find them useful. These tools use cookies and similar technology, and Google and Meta may combine this with other information they hold. In the United States and most other countries they are on by default; you can turn them off at any time with the “Privacy choices” link at the bottom of every page, and we treat your browser’s Global Privacy Control signal as an opt-out. Visitors in Europe and the UK are asked first, and these tools only run if you agree. When these tools are on and you request a report, we also tell Meta that a sign-up happened, with your email address and first name in scrambled (hashed) form, so we can measure which ads work. We never sell your personal information.

How we use it

To show and send you your report, to follow up about your results, and to send a short series of notes on growth and exits. You can unsubscribe from any email at any time.

What we don’t do

We never sell or rent your information. We don’t share it with third parties except the service providers that host this site and send our emails, who may only use it to provide those services.

Security and retention

Your information is stored on secured servers and kept only as long as needed for the purposes above. You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your information at any time.
